Memphis and the lake

So now that all my family has facebook, I guess I'm going to have to write more to go along with these pictures since everyone can see the pics on facebook now. lol

Memphis
Brett and I went to Memphis last weekend to meet up with Matt and Julie. It was so nice to get away after such an awful week at work. These first pictures were taken on Mud Island in Memphis. We love this place and if we ever happen to move to Memphis we would live here. :)
The entire length of the island along the river is a really nice park. We spent an hour or so just walking/playing with the soccer ball in the park.

This was taken in Mississippi on the river at a park somewhere :)

We had reeeally good BBQ at Neely's in Memphis...it was our lunch AND dinner.

On Sunday, we went to see the ducks march out of the fountain at The Peabody hotel.

Riverview Drive in downtown Memphis (on the river, obviously) is awesome. The houses are huge and all worth somewhere in the $1-2 million. There is a sidewalk all the way down this road right next to the houses.

Nolin Lake, Kentucky

We spent the weekend out at Brett's grandparent's house on the lake. It was sooo relaxing!

Beautiful road leaving the lake
